An abrupt mass exodus among the school's student body forces Alaric (Matt Davis) and the squad to mount a desperate drive to recruit new students to keep the Salvatore School afloat in the new episode "To Whom It May Concern." Meanwhile, Hope (Danielle Rose Russell) agrees to help Lizzie (Jenny Boyd) plan and carry out orientation sessions for the newcomers, and Josie (Kaylee Bryant) makes a fresh start for herself at Mystic Falls High. Quincy Fouse and Chris Lee also are featured.
