A back-to-back double bill of new episodes opens with "Sunburn," in which McGee's (Sean Murray) Bahamian vacation with his wife Delilah (guest star Margo Harshman) turns into a high-stakes mission. Elsewhere, Gibbs (Mark Harmon) fears the worst when his search for Fornell (Joe Spano) leads to blood. Immediately following, the new "Head of the Snake" follows Gibbs and Fornell as their crusade to find the head of the drug ring responsible for Fornell's daughter Emily's overdose comes to a climax.
