In the new documentary "Our Time Machine" from filmmakers Yang Sun and S. Leo Chiang, Maleonn, an artist, responds in an unusually creative way to the discovery that his father has Alzheimer's disease: He creates "Papa's Time Machine," an enchanting and autobiographical stage performance that incorporates life-size marionettes. Through the staging of this play, father and son are able to confront their shared mortality before time runs out and precious memories are lost forever. This film won an award for its cinematography at the Tribeca Film Festival.
