After seven seasons, the series finale episode "For They Existed," brings to a close the legacy of the Bordelon family as it faces off against the Landrys in the final fight for their land with the help of their ancestors, loved ones and their fierce family bond. From filmmaker Ava DuVernay and executive producer Oprah Winfrey, the series stars Rutina Wesley, Dawn-Lyen Gardner, Kofi Siriboe and Tina Lifford.
