The dysfunctional Gallagher clan of Chicago opens its 11th and final season, which finds various family members at a crossroads as they struggle to adjust to the COVID-19 pandemic, growing gentrification, and other life challenges. Among other story lines, Frank (William H. Macy) confronts his own mortality in his drug-and-booze-fogged senior years, while eldest son Lip (Jeremy Allen White) grapples with his new role as de facto Gallagher patriarch. Meanwhile, newlyweds Ian and Mickey (Cameron Monaghan, Noel Fisher) figure out the rules of committed relationships.
